The new & improved Pop Top Rubber Gasket safely creates a weatherproof seal around the top of your Field Van fiberglass shell. Designed to replace outdated and worn out Pop-Top gaskets.
This new style tamps directly into place! Tools required for installation include: a pry-tool for removing old clips (if applicable), a rubber mallet, and a pair of tin snips.
*The new rubber gasket does NOT require pop top clips like the old style! This gasket will cover existing clip holes on older top models!
I am so looking forward to installing this new gasket. I've gone through two of the original versions over 6 years. Based on previous reviews, I'll be very pleased with it.
I was a little concerned about the seal not having the pins to hold it tight. I was pleasantly surprised that it was easy to install, and it held super tight once I got it in place. It is a little hard to get up and in place, but that is what is holding it on. Very pleased.
having a shorter van i only required 30' of the new gasket better than the original by far
